This two piece dress was purchased at the Alison Estate auction and has the tag "Mrs. Margaret Alison" sewn inside the skirt. The skirt has a draw string waist and a black cotton slip sewn inside. The blouse is elaborately tucked.



Oma Oberchain wore this white lawn dress in 1910 when she married Adam Jellison from Allison Prairie in Lawrence County, IL. In the detail photos at the right notice the lace yoke, waist and cuffs.
