Author Jon Musgrave spent many years researching The Old Slave House in south eastern Illinois.  Crenshaw operated a reverse underground railroad, capturing free blacks and selling them back into slave states, as well as operating a salt works for many years.  The Old Slave House is now owned by the State of Illinois as a historic site but is not open to the public at this time.  Hardcover with dust jacket.
