Published in 1965 by the Historical Committee of the Mt, Carmel Sesquicentennial Celebration, this 24 page booklet (8.5 inches by 5.5 inches) has a stiff cardboard cover and is filled with reproduced clippings from old Mt. Carmel newspapers.  Often they are edited material from the earliest newspapers of the county (1835, 1847, 1854, 1893 and an extensive section on the tornado coverage of June 1877.  Lots of old local tidbits at a bargain price.
