In 1925 the 5 state tornado ripped across the midwest and entered southern Illinois in Jackson County and swept a destructive path eastward to White County on the east side of the state, entered the tiny town of Griffin, IN and petered out in Gibson County, IN. Newspaper reported Angela Mason gleaned information from historic newpapers and then interviewed survivors of the storm and obtained historic photos to document this epic disaster. softcover
